
Biography
Shejeru Sarmiento is a Venezuelan violinist, raised in the esteemed El Sistema de Orquestas de Venezuela, where she cultivated a profound passion for orchestral and chamber music. Shejeru performed and toured with orchestras across China, Japan and the United States under the baton of esteemed conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel and Christian Vasquez. She debuted as a soloist at the age of 15 and continued to perform recitals and soloist concerts in South and North America. Shejeru has maintained a consistent presence in the New York music scene following the attainment of her Bachelor's degree in Performance Arts in 2021 by touring and performing with orchestras and chamber music groups around the United States. Shejeru has studied with influential musicians such as Daniel Phillips and Lisa Kim and received master classes from names such as Aaron Rosand.

In addition, Shejeru is ardently dedicated to imparting the significance of musical education and the inherent values it entails. Her commitment extends to conducting private and semi-private classes, catering to students of all ages, as she endeavors to share the enriching experience of learning a musical instrument.
